My name is Tod Sheley, a freelance photographer and proud Knoxvillian from Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm blessed to have the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and rich Appalachian history right outside my backdoor. I love capturing the beauty of East Tennessee and all it has to offer with lakes, barns, old churches and southern charm. I was born with Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS) that left me with "Specific learning disability" with blindness in my left eye and my right eye has color vision deficiency.
Sounds like photography is a perfect career field for me ( I bet you’re thinking the same thing haha). What got me into photography?
Well, I fell in love with photography when I started to document my band touring. Got off the road in the summer of 2015 and now just focus on freelance/social, media/street photography. About to open an online store to sell my work. I'm also big activist in bringing awareness to people with learning disabilities and encouraging those who struggle with it.
